Asynchronous HTTP API – Beta Launch

SmartThings Developers – we’re excited to announce a beta version of APIs that allow developers to make HTTP requests to third party services asynchronously. These APIs work similarly to existing APIs like httpGet(), httpPut(), etc., but with one big difference – they are executed asynchronously. New Developer Feature – Hide Preference When Empty

We are excited to announce the new hideWhenEmpty preferences configuration option. This feature will be useful to all developers wanting to provide a more succinct and friendly installation flow for your SmartApps. Prior to today if you wanted to hide an input field you would have needed to clutter up your code with if statements. This was hard to read and added another layer of complexity to your code.
